Art, design and I go way back, but the formal beginning was with Rochester Institute of Technology's Art and Design program.  By the time the adventure of raising 3 boys began, I was designing, creating and painting gift items from my home wood shop, and attending design classes at Buffalo State College.  

A degree in Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh led me to employment in the trade show exhibit industry as a design consultant and later as project manager. 

 Other interests included sculpting in clay, casting, and mold making to 

reproduce my original designs, and decorative painting on furniture and walls.

A  layoff in 1998 turned into an opportunity to start my own business, and I concentrated on murals and decorative furniture painting throughout the Pittsburgh area.  In July of 2002 I moved to the Florida Panhandle where I continue to enjoy the challenge of transforming room interiors and furniture thru the magic of decorative painting.
